Review
Captain QuazarSTORY / GAMEPLAY
You are Captain Quazar, a law enforcement redneck and your country's government assigns you to stop the plans of an alien terrorists team. The aliens threaten to launch heavy missiles and destroy the world so you must run through the game's levels and destroy everything in your path, save all the prisoners and finally stop their plans once and for all. You have a large variety of weapons at your disposal with which you can kill all enemy forces, demolish any building that stands in your way and disarm the deadly missiles. In terms of gameplay, Captain Quazar is a quite fun and pretty easy game. All you have to do is run and gun everything that moves. That simple! But you must remember that, in order to survive, you need to find ammunition and energy pills. These power-ups can be found by smashing crates or blowing up fuel barrels.

GRAPHICS / SOUND
This game looks and plays great! The visuals feature some nicely done -and funny- sprites and vivid colors. The hero moves fast (as the enemies do as well) and the action is crazy! There are no slowdowns here and the isometric areas work like charm. Apart from the colorful, cartoonish visuals, Captain Quazar also offers a variety of great, sampled sound effects plus a "frenetic" soundtrack that reminds me of the American South.
