Dino Dudes EvolutionSTORY / GAMEPLAY
Your goal in this action puzzler is to help prehistoric cavemen to evolve by helping them discover tools, the wheel, weapons or even fire. You'll find your Dino Dudes waiting -aimless and bored- around the level. But don't be misled since each of them is a prehistoric powerhouse ready to make it through evolution. To succeed, you have to learn how to control several Dino Dudes to work together as a team. It takes precision and teamwork to master the difficult task of survival. After all, becoming the dominant species isn't easy, especially with all those hungry dinosaurs roaming around. When your dino dude picks up an item, the action bar will display a new set of icons for you to choose from, offering a range of actions possible with this very item. You may also form a Dino Dude Ladder / Stacking by stacking your Dino Dudes to form ladders. The ladders are useful for moving up and down through the levels. Inside a cave you have to guide your cavemen through discovering spears, fire and the occasional T-Rex who enjoys biting their heads off. Note that each cave is swarmed by prehistoric enemies to battle including dinosaurs and rival tribesmen. There are tons of obstacles to overcome including cliffs, boulders and famished carnivores. Discover and master the use of fire, spears, ropes and even powerful witch doctors. Note that it can get frustrating trying to figure out exactly what to do but it's a fun diversion. The game features 80 tough levels to complete.

GRAPHICS / SOUND
The graphics are laden with humorous touches. Each stage has really nice details (identical to the Atari Jaguar version) with 256 colors and nicely drawn backgrounds. The sprites are nicely animated, although their tiny size. The Atari Falcon version's sound is good with a few nice tunes and a variety of funny, sampled sound effects.
